Conference Speakers

Bio: Sheli Gartman has been inspiring and educating businesses, teams and individuals for the past 20 years. Constantly inspired by the souls in front of her, Sheli travels all over the world inspiring individuals and companies to manifest their highest potentiality and calling. She is an international Speaker, Dynamic Business Consultant, and Personal Development Facilitator. From large to small businesses, Entrepreneurs, and nonprofits, Sheli engages and challenges her audience with the tools and methods to activate their highest strengths for lasting results. It’s not enough to say she is passionate about this work, because this isn’t work for her, this is truly about changing the world. Sheli lives in beautiful Boise, Idaho with her husband and three miraculous children.

Keynote Description: Without realising it, we all perpetuate stereotypes about gender traits and roles that we are craving to break out of! Sheli G will bring an informative, humorous and inspiring keynote on breaking through these limiting boxes, in order for us to scale and break free from discrimination and inequality.

Bio: Laura has been an executive level leader at ICCU for over 12 years. She graduated from ISU with a degree in Marketing and Communications. She is the Vice President of the Idaho Nonprofit Center, And serves on the board of directors of the United Way. She gives countless hours of community service to a multitude of nonprofits, and she believes in investing in her family, her teams at work, and in her community. Positive, effective communication is her passion. She makes her home in Pocatello, Idaho.

Keynote Description:  The juggle of women not only at work or in their calling, but as family members with many responsibilities, humanitarians, dreamers and explorers has never been more real. How do we scale professionally and stay healthy and balanced personally? Find out a few keys to the success of women in the current culture.

Bio: Priscilla was raised on a ranch in White Bird, Idaho and graduated as student body president and valedictorian of Salmon River High School in Riggins.  Starting at the age of 13, she set national and world records in powerlifting in the squat, bench press and deadlift.  A four-sport athlete in high school, she was recruited onto the track and field team at the Air Force Academy where she graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  She then attended pilot training and was selected to fly the A-10 Warthog, her first choice.  Upon completing fighter pilot training, she was the only one in her class to be awarded  “Top Gun”, a weapons employment precision award.  She completed a master’s degree in physiology while deployed overseas.  She maintains an active lifestyle and completed the Boise Ironman 70.3 and volunteers as a World Powerlifting Congress national referee.

She deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom three times.  She has flown gliders, C-182s, DA-20s, T-6s, T-38s, A-10s, and MC-12s and has logged 1,000 combat hours.  She was elected to the Idaho Legislature in 2016 and she still serves in the Air Force Reserves as the Director of Idaho Admissions Liaisons for the Air Force Academy and ROTC.

She has lived and worked abroad traveling to more than 32 countries around the world.  As a motivational speaker, she recounts stories from her military career to inspire young women to be “curiously strong”.  She provides simple tools acknowledging the personal power and expertise of women leaders. Today many are thirsty for strong female role models and Priscilla provides a refreshing perspective.

Keynote Description: Many women leaders have learned how to operate and succeed in a male structured environment. Male personality types and leadership styles are the model for most men and women, yet women possess unique and specific leadership traits that deliver highly desirable results.  Priscilla’s perspective will encourage women to identify natural female leadership skills, ultimately igniting their full leadership potential.

Bio: From a rising 20-something to instantly paralyzed, Nathan Ogden’s life came crashing to a halt. Nathan shattered his neck snow skiing leaving him a quadriplegic in 2001. Today, he is a highly sought after inspirational keynote speaker, trainer and author of the book, Unfrozen. Nathan has taught thousands in business, organizations, nonprofits and schools how to conquer their fears and move from paralysis to progress through eliminating excuses in their professional and personal lives. Nathan instantly connects with his audience and delivers invaluable principles they can relate to and act upon.

Keynote Description: What’s Your “Q” Card? What “exQuses” are you telling yourself that is keeping you from achieving greater success in business and life? When we allow fear and doubt to control our thoughts we become mentally paralyzed and it freezes our progress. It’s time to Identify, Obtain, and Commit to walking away from our paralysis.

Bio: Dr. Barry is a native to Boise. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Boise State University and earned a medical degree from the University of Washington in 2007. She is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been practicing hospital based medicine since 2010.  In 2014 she opened VitaNovu, a practice dedicated to providing patients with personalized preventative medicine and superior cosmetic treatments in one convenient facility. In 2015 Dr. Barry completed her fellowship training with the American Academy of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine and was double boarded in Anti-Aging Medicine as well as Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Barry has extensive experience in treating a variety of health and cosmetic conditions. She utilizes the latest technology in advanced metabolic testing to determine the root cause of her patients’ complaints, rather than simply prescribing pharmaceuticals, which only serve to mask symptoms and often create more harmful side effects. She has been skillfully trained by world renowned experts in cosmetic procedures such as botox, fillers, skin rejuvenation and cosmetic lasers. Bio: U.S. Navy Veteran Jennifer Lastra has spent the majority of her career in the defense sector at several large defense contractors that supply military equipment and services to help ensure our Nation’s security.

A certified Project Management Professional, Jennifer’s skills found a niche and cofounded 360 Immersive, LLC at a time when virtual reality was on the cusp of a massive period of growth. 360 Immersive helps organizations capture mission critical imagery using an affordable app based solution that archives, protects, and distributes immersive content on demand.  As the CEO and Managing Director, Jennifer brings a sincere passion for immersive technology, and an enthusiasm to help businesses realize the potential in VR as the game-changing training and performance-enhancing tool of the future.

In addition to being a certified Project Management Professional, Jennifer has both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master in Business Administration from Averett University.

Bio: Terilee Harrison is a transformational leader, master coach, and author of The, and co-Author of The Ignited Entrepreneur. She is the CEO/Founder of Terilee Harrison International. Since 2006, her life’s work has been to educate, transform and inspire people to live brilliant and bold lives of purpose.

An expert in business networking and relationship marketing, Terilee has worked with thousands of entrepreneurs at TEAM Referral Network in Southern California.

As a professional speaker, Terilee’s ability to both inspire and challenge audiences to action and change can be attributed to her consistently authentic presentation regarding who she is, where she’s been, and what she’s learned along the way.

Terilee resides in Singapore, with her husband Terry. They have 4 children.

Keynote Description: What is the message, strategy or hope you possess inside? From your experience education and spiritual gifts? Have you fully unlocked the greatness within, to change the world? Good news, you can! And we will talk about ways to do just that.

Bio: Megan Bryant is the co-founder of Zip Zap Zop – a team training company based on a curriculum of improvisation, with 12 years of improv performance and practical application. Bryant is the creator and director of Idaho Laugh Fest, Idaho’s premier annual comedy festival. She’s the author of the award-winning autobiography, Not My Plan. Bryant spent 15 years working in corporate environments as a retail bank manager and a grant manager for FEMA while doing comedy as a “hobby.” Bryant is an improv instructor, variety comedian, speaker, and mother to 4 young kids and has received such honors as the Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished Under 40 and the Women of the Year Recognition. Bryant is also a Birth Mother and currently serves on the Board of Directors for A New Beginning Adoption Agency.

Keynote Description: Our lives are packed with work, family, friends, goals, dreams, and of course, many delightfully unexpected hurdles and negative influences. Can we keep chasing ambitions AND be a successful mother/partner/employee/etc.? Are you out of your mind? Finding a balance to everything in life can seem impossible, because this kind of balance we are being fed is a myth. The trick is to get yourself into the “Yes, And” mindset of improvisation to help you navigate the trials and triumphs with more grace while also being a champion for those you love most in life.

Bio: April Matson is an actress best known for her role as Lori Trager in the ABC Family cable television network series, Kyle XY. Prior to that she played Penny Chase on the Fox network television series, Quintuplets, alongside Andy Richter. She has also guest starred in various television shows including NCIS, American Dreams and Psych, and has appeared in several short and feature independent films.

In 2015, April founded Platform Boise, an acting studio and theatre/film production company based in Boise, Idaho. In addition to writing, producing and directing independent films, she is an acting teacher and coach to local actors.

As a fairly new filmmaker, April has produced award-winning short films including “Best of the Fest” at the Idaho Laugh Fest Comedy Short Film Festival for her first short film Swipe, “Second Best Film” at the i48 Film Competition for Science: It’s Weird! (2016), and recently took home both awards “Best Film” and “Best Screenplay” for Blend In at the i48 February Challenge Film Competition (2017).

She is Co-executive Producer for the feature film MARBLES, written by Matt Dominick, scheduled to film in Boise in the spring of 2018.

Keynote Description: Contrary to popular assumption, acting is more about discovering your authentic self and finding the courage to reveal your truth than it is about pretending to be something you’re not. April explores how in a world that makes it easy to wander away from yourself, her journey as an actress and filmmaker continually leads her back to the truth.

Bio: Lifelong Idaho resident, mother of 4 very active boys, and wife to an adoring husband, Kayla Rich has been informing, amusing, and motivating audiences across the country for over 20 years. Kayla has worked as a residential contractor, speaker, and coach. She currently runs a chapter of a non-profit called Days For Girls, making menstrual hygiene kits for women in developing countries. A proficient googler, blogger and lover of potatoes Kayla’s life insights have the ability to help you get to know your true self and navigate your roles and relationships with confidence.

Find out a few of the top keys to unlocking the power of the collective at home, at work and in your community, in order to create your divinely inspired life!

Bio: Maureen O’Toole successfully scaled the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council as CEO. She provided direction to meet the organization’s goals, including community outreach and collaboration, increased visibility and financial sustainability, membership recruitment and retention, and constituent engagement.

O’Toole is a retired military intelligence officer and public school teacher. She served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves for 25 years, earning the rank of lieutenant colonel. During her time in the military she studied organizations and systems in order to predict behavior. She was a teacher for 17 years, working in private tutoring, private music instruction, K-8 curriculum and Spanish instruction.

O’Toole earned her Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from The College of William and Mary in Virginia, her Bachelor of Arts in bilingual elementary education from Boise State University, and her master’s degree in organizational leadership from the George Fox University’s Idaho campus.

Bio: Whether it be a mission trip in Indonesia, a charity campaign to earn the Woman of the Year title, or finding her clients their dream home, Kaitlin is devoted to helping people in any way, shape, or form that she possibly can.

Kaitlin has a love of sales and building meaningful relationships through business, and this brought her to the perfect job as a realtor, in the perfect company, Amherst Madison Legacy and the Wilson Homes team. Kaitlin has a background in interior design/staging and architecture, giving her a very unique knowledge of all the details required to make a house truly a home. She is also certified in UEB Braille, and has a broad experience working with children with special needs, giving her a love for working with families of special needs children. Kaitlin sees no greater personal honor than making home dreams come true.

 Talk Description: Millennials are some of the most passionate people around, ANd we are widely misunderstood. Let me share a few perspectives with you, about how my generation wants to partner with you, to change the works!

Bio: Janet Ravenscraft is an Author, Speaker and an Enthusiastic Entrepreneur. She was in Corporate America for over 30 years, holding numerous management positions, before she was laid off and started over on her quest to find her passions and purpose. Janet’s motto is: “Have Fun, Share her Passions, and Travel the World!”

Her first book, SEE ME NOW was published in December 2015 and has provided numerous chances for her to stretch and be open to the endless possibilities around every corner. Janet lives in Idaho with her husband and near her two grown children, spending as much time as possible with her family.  She loves to read, garden, camp and travel using her passport at least once year.

 Talk Description: What’s the difference in “typical networking” that makes us all yawn, and creating relationships that last? We will talk about tips to creating your best relationships in business and in life.

Bio: Since 2012 I have helped hundreds of businesses make the leap from passive bystander to engaged benefactor, not only helping them build a loyal and dedicated following, but also helping them turn those fans into buying customers.

In 2015 I started hosting shows on Live Video (Livestreaming) originating with “The DailyQ Show”, an online interview show where I explored the lives of successful entrepreneurs, business owners, solopreneurs, and other individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their field. I now have been recently ranked as the #2 livestreaming expert in the world. My passion now is the help others understand the power of livestreaming, and put it to use in their business, cause and life.

Bio: Chris and his family have called the Boise area home for over 20 years. During that time, Chris has worked for a premier Boise builder and then started his own home building company while starting and leading a new church. Since 2006 Chris has been a full-time real estate agent using his past experience and professional training to help people enjoy the process of achieving their real estate goals. Chris and his wife, Stephanie, enjoy the active lifestyle that thrives in the Boise area. In addition to his sweet karaoke skills, Chris is a trainer at his gym and Stephanie is currently ranked twelfth in the nation in powerlifting. Both are Spartan Trifecta Finishers and proud members of Bronco Nation! Chris and Stephanie also have two daughters, a son-in-law, and the world’s cutest granddaughter!
